Grades TK-8: Homeschool and on-campus instruction using project-based and social emotional learning.

Grades 9-12+: Students take college classes beginning in the 9th grade through our dual enrollment partners. After completing their high school coursework, students can work toward an AA or Bachelor’s degree, for free. Students also gain career readiness skills through Entrepreneurship and Aviation career pathways.

Aligning Graduation Requirements with A-G Completion

Most CA High School Seniors Have Not Met the “A-G Requirements” to Apply to the State’s Public Universities

EdSource released its analysis of the 2023 A-G requirement records from the California Department of Education and found that more than half of high school seniors in California are shut out from applying to the state’s public University of California and Cal State universities. This is not the case at Da Vinci Schools where 94% of graduates meet the entrance requirements for UC and Cal State admission.

Strengthening the Path to College & Beyond

Dual Enrollment Helps Shape and Transform the Lives of Kids at Da Vinci Connect High School

When Milissa Sutton and Leo Millot chose Da Vinci Connect High School, they knew the idea of earning a college degree, and/or taking college classes, while in high school intrigued them, but they didn’t realize all the other life-changing benefits they would receive in addition to those college credits and college degrees.

Training for the Future of Work

Da Vinci continues to expand opportunities for young people to build employable skill sets through hands-on, real world learning experiences that are aligned with workforce needs. Surrounded by tech, aerospace and creative neighbors, Da Vinci offers 15 career technical education (CTE) pathways to equip students with the skills, knowledge and training they need to succeed in high-demand careers across a wide range of industry sectors. A newly reconfigured 8,200 square foot CTE Lab on the Douglas campus houses a growing skilled trades assembly/fabrication workshop.

At the heart of Da Vinci’s instructional model is project-based, real-world learning that prepares students for life after high school. In Summer 2024, Da Vinci hosted six career training clinics providing 118 students with hands-on career learning experiences. The free clinics included Advanced Manufacturing in partnership with Harbor Freight Tools for Schools, Aviation Camp in partnership with Giving Kids Wings Flight Academy and Los Angeles World Airports, Futures Rewired and Future Shock in partnership with Teach For America’s Reinvention Lab, Television & Red Carpet Hosting in partnership with Diamond in the Raw, and Biz Camp in partnership with L.A. Urban League.
